5 Best Super Bowl parties happening outside Halton

Whether you’re looking forward to the hilarious commercials, the halftime show, all the prop bets, or just the game itself, there are plenty of reasons to be excited for Super Bowl Sunday next weekend.

If you still haven’t figured out where you’ll be watching the big game, you’re in luck.

These are the 5 best places to watch the Super Bowl outside Halton.


5: Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken Super Bowl Party

Located at 365 King Street West in downtown Toronto, Tokyo Hot Fried Chicken’s Super Bowl party will have food and drink specials, prizes and giveaways, and the game playing–with sound–on a 100-inch TV with several smaller flat screens spread out across the bar.

4: Marbowl II

For the second year in a row, MARBL–located at 455 King Street West–is throwing a giant Super Bowl party.

For $35, guests will have access to a buffet spread of all the game-day favourites. There will also be drink specials, and prizes and giveaways throughout the evening.

Due to limited space, seating will be by reservation only.

3: Wayne Gretzky’s Super Bowl Party

A staple when it comes to sports viewing, Wayne Gretzky’s is closing down soon. However, before they do, they’re having one more epic Super Bowl party.

This year, the restaurant will be hosting two events–the main event at the restaurant located at 99 Blue Jays Way, in Toronto, and a VIP party hosted by TSN’s Kate Beirness at Second City Studio at the same address.

The main event costs $25 to attend, and features a complimentary beverage, passed snacks, a live DJ, and prizes and giveaways throughout the night.

The VIP event costs $40 to attend and features an all-you-can-eat buffet, a live DJ, and tons of prizes and giveaways including the chance to win a $1000 Flight Centre voucher.

2: The Office Pub Super Bowl Party

This year marks the ninth annual Super Bowl party at The Office Pub, located at 117 John Street in Toronto.

This year’s party features the game playing on 30 HD TV screens throughout the bar; $5 domestic pints, $4 mixed drinks, and $4 Jager shots all night; a special half-time burlesque performance; and several prizes and giveaways including a 50” TV, Raptors tickets, a Jagermeister Shotmeister, and more.

Admission is $45.

1: REBEL’s Super Bowl Party

If you enjoy watching the big game in a crowded atmosphere with other sports fanatics, Rebel’s Super Bowl party is not to be missed.

Located at 11 Polson Street in Toronto, this year’s party features an enormous, 45,000 square-foot venue; a massive, 34’ (that’s right, 34 feet) TV playing the game plus several individual screens spread out around the bar; food and drink specials throughout the night; live entertainment; and prizes and giveaways.

There will also be free shuttle bus service between Rebel and Union Station.
