5 Black Friday Sales Across Halton

You know it’s Black Friday when you’re willing to throw ‘bows at little old men wearing tams and suspenders or brace-faced tweens who walk in large groups then suddenly stop in front of you when you’re on a #mission to find the best deals possible ranging from knit leggings to a hideously perfect Denver Broncos fleece blanket.

While Canadians aren’t nearly as savage as our Murican counterparts, we are indeed guilty of lovin’ a steep discount. Here are five places to check out for some great Black Friday deals.

Black Friday shopping begins at 6 a.m. in Halton Hills. Find great savings from your favourite stores, including Steve Madden, Skechers, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Versace, Guess Factory, and more. Stores are open until 10 p.m. If you’re driving, keep in mind there’s additional overflow parking available at the southwest corner of Steeles Ave W. and Trafalgar Rd. Complimentary shuttle is available to the mall. Service operates every 15 minutes in a continuous loop. The shuttle pickup point is the Coffee Time shelter and dropoff is the Theatre Court (southeast corner of the mall).

The Leighland Ave. mall has received a $40 million facelift of sorts, which includes modernization of indoor common areas and exterior improvements, renovation of the Hudson Bay store (I’ve scored some incredible deals here over the summer), replacement of the parking deck, and the introduction of retailers such as Pusateri’s Fine Foods, Sephora, and Pandora. Shop Black Friday is taking place on Nov. 23 from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m. Get there early, because a $10 Oakville Place gift card is being given out with every $100 Oakville Place gift card purchased on Black Friday. There’s a limit of one gift card per person, while quantities last).

If you’re a big Mapleview enthusiast, you’ll be happy to know that the mall has Black Friday deals on tap.
This Burlington hotspot is opening early, at 8 a.m. for the big day. But you’ll have to check the mall’s promo listings to find out which retailers are offering up sweet deals.

Doors are opening at 8 a.m. and here’s a reason to head to this Guelph Line mall: Santa Claus himself will be in the shopping centre and will randomly select a shopper every hour to receive their purchase for free. Let Santa take your photo for social media so we can declare our hourly winners and he will gladly pay for your purchase- maximum purchase per customer is $500.
Shoppers must sign a release for their free purchase.

Local Villages

If you want to support small business,  shop local by checking out downtown Oakville, Kerr Village, Bronte, Brant St. in Burlington, and Main St. in Milton. You can also look up Black Friday deals for Burlington on Red Tag Deals here.
