5 Hottest Restaurants in Oakville, Burlington and Milton – Nov. 10 – Nov. 16

Here are the 5 hottest restaurants in Halton for the week of Nov. 10 - Nov. 16 based on the amount of organic page views and searches these restaurants received on inhalton.com.

5. Napoli Pizza

Burlington

There’s something about the sweet sauce … this tiny pizza place keeps on pleasing. It's cheap, it’s hot, and you don’t have to drive in circles to find parking. And as soon as you bite into that crust, you’ll know why it’s consistently ranked as one of the best in Burlington. ‘Nuff said.

Price for a large pepperoni (pick-up): $8.99

4. Mye 1

Oakville - south

The Mye restaurant brand is the best in Oakville and the original Mye is located in the heart of beautiful downtown Oakville in the Lakeshore and Trafalgar area. It is located in what looks like an old house and they have modernized it by partitioning the dining room off with glass. We had the exact same seven course-tasting menu as we had in Mye 2 with just one difference at the original Mye. There was a crab claw in my sunomono salad, which Mye 2 didn’t have. The location of this Mye restaurant with the combination of the fresh crab claw makes this location just an inch better than Mye 2!

3. The Coop Wicked Chicken

Burlington

There’s good chicken and there’s chicken that’s tasty as cluck (that wasn’t a typo). Brant St. is home to this fun, laidback resto … you may recognize the name from Hamilton’s original King St. W. location. Doors opened in March 2017 and locals are flocking to the place. Featuring lunch, dinner, and boozy weekend brunch, Coop Wicked Chicken offers fresh in-house food made with high-quality ingredients. Pulled sandwiches are popular ... we went with the Smoky BBQ ($11.99). Shredded meat is doused in a tangy, tasty sauce and the coleslaw adds a nice crunch. Other offerings include Deep-Fried Deviled Eggs (fantastic!), Sriracha Honey Cauliflower (for the vegans in your life), Hardcore Pulled Chicken Poutine, and Chicken & Waffles topped with an egg -- this was absolutely phenomenal. If you're due for a cheat meal, there's also a bacon grilled cheese with (wait for it) mac and cheese. (You'll hate yourself after but you'll also fall asleep pretty quick). The atmosphere is unpretentious and fun.

2. Rad Brothers

Milton

This burger was super-filling. The patty was handmade and it was nearly as thick as my mom makes them (she says I don’t eat enough meat and am thereby lacking essential nutrients). Well, nothing’s lacking in this beautiful piece of beef. Served with lettuce, tomato and pickle, it’s a simple burger which tastes great. (So was the house salad — it was fresh and had a delicious vinaigrette). This Ontario St. neighbourhood bar is covered in damask wallpaper, boasts a digital jukebox, and has ultra-comfy tufted booths. Naturally, locals love it. The burger was inhaled plain — ketchup or mustard weren't necessary. The bun was soft and hit the spot. You must try it.

1. Paradiso

Oakville

The dress code is casual, however, the food is anything but. The amazing Gnocchi is braised for 12 hours. While you’re there, try the Paradiso Burger, which tastes Incredible (hold up, grammar nerds — that’s an intentional capital ‘I’). Seasoned meat - a great combination of Angus beef and chorizo sausage - is unbelievably satisfying. The house-made patty is flavoured and tastes incredible as-is. One bite in, and I’m in burger paradise. This thick patty is topped with smoked cheddar, house-made ketchup and sweet pickles, smoked honey dijon mustard, then served with herb roasted mini red potatoes. Impressing Oakville diners for 20 years (there’s also a Burlington location on Pine St.) you’ve gotta make a reservation and get your burger on!
