62 year-old man dead after vehicle crashes into ditch in Beaverton

A Beaverton man is dead after his vehicle left the roadway and entered a ditch in Brock Township Friday night.
Police responded to a single motor vehicle collision at Lakeridge Road near Beach Road Friday, just before 6 p.m., and discovered a black 2003 Ford F150 pickup truck that had reportedly driven off the roadway and into a ditch.
A 62 year-old man was the driver and only occupant in the vehicle. Officers say he was transported to a local hospital and was later pronounced dead. The driver’s identity has not been released.
Investigators closed the roads for several hours while evidence was collected.
