UPDATE: 88 year-old missing Burlington resident last seen walking his dog

UPDATE: Halton Police are thanking the public for their efforts. Alexander and his dog have been located. They are safe and have been reunited with family.

Halton Regional Police are appealing to the public to help safely locate a missing elderly man from Burlington.

On Sunday (Nov. 5) police say Alexander Zhurba was last seen walking his dog—a Pug, in the area of Spruce Avenue and Burloak Drive.

According to investigators, Zhurba is described as being a white man, with a slim build and height of 5-foot-2. He is bald and has a white beard.

Zhurba was last seen wearing a fluffy white hat that covered his ears and a brown coat.

Police and his family are concerned for his well being.

Anyone with information about Zhurba or know of his whereabouts, should call police at 9-1-1.
