Fall is an exciting time for a lot of different reasons – the cool crisp air, changing colours, Halloween, pumpkin spice lattes, and, of course, fall fairs. Luckily, there are an abundance of fall-themed activities to participate in right here in the Halton Region. However, Burlington residents specifically may be happy to read that a festive fall far is taking place in the city soon.

An exciting event – in order to celebrate the changing of seasons – is taking place at the Ireland House Museum in Burlington (2168 Guelph Line).

The Applefest Fall Fair, organized by Museums of Burlington, is taking place from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Sept. 22, 2019.

At the fair there will be main stage entertainment, museum tours, a kid’s farm zone, animal attractions, antique cars, historic demonstrators, a mini farmer’s market, food trucks, and a number of vendors.

Free parking will be available at M.M. Robinson High School (2425 Upper Middle Rd.), and admission to the event is $5 per person.
