A popular restaurant to open 2 new locations in Hamilton and St. Catharines

A popular shawarma chain is making its way to Hamilton and St Catharines in the near future.
Shelby’s Legendary Shawarma known for taking classic middle eastern cuisine and tweaking the recipes to create food that is modern, appetizing and flavourful— has added two new locations.
On the restaurant website, the addresses for the new storefronts have been confirmed.
284 Glendale Ave, in St. Catharines and 847 Upper James St in Hamilton will be Shelby’s next stops.

Most ordered menu items that you might want to check out include the falafels, Saj Manaeesh —a bread with various fillings and shawarma poutine.
Recently chicken shawarma rice bowls have been added to select stores.
The first Shelby’s restaurant launched in London, Ontario in 2015 and since then has expanded to 9 storefronts including one in Etobicoke, and another in Oakville.
Shelby’s doesn’t have many locations for no reason, they are very active on their social media platforms and have a following of over 1.3 million on TikTok with an impressive 38.9 million likes on their posts.

However, foodies will have to wait a little longer as no official date of the openings in both St. Catharines and Hamilton have been announced, other than the ‘coming soon’ mentioned on the restaurant’s website.
The hours of operation for the restaurant varies at each location.
Currently you can find the Rexdale Shelby’s open every day from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
The Oakville location is ready for business even earlier from 10 a.m. − 11 p.m. every day.
