All public library branches closed for development day in Oakville

If you have a book you want to take out or grab an educational movie for the kids at an Oakville library branch Friday (Sept. 22), you’ll have to put it off until tomorrow.

The Oakville Public Library announced all of its branches are closed today for an “organization-wide staff development day.”

All library branches will reopen on Saturday.

If you have a book due or need to return a library item, return boxes will remain open at all branches (unless otherwise stated).

Oakville Public Library Branches include:

• Central Branch (120 Navy St.)
• Woodside Branch (1274 Rebecca St.)
• White Oaks Branch (1070 McCraney St. E.)
• Glen Abbey Branch (1415 Third Line)
• Sixteen Mile Branch (3250 Neyagawa Blvd.)
• Clearview Branch (2860 Kingsway Dr.)
• Iroquois Ridge Branch (1051 Glenashton Dr.)
