Amazon’s donation to MDHF will directly support the purchase of ICU equipment and help hospital staff provide urgent care to members of the community.
The donation to Halton Women’s Place will help support the organization’s Public Education Fund as well as the development of a new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Room for local women and children facing abuse.
“Amazon’s donations to Halton Women’s Place and Milton District Hospital Foundation highlight the company’s commitment to our local community,” said Milton Mayor Gordon Krantz.
“The Halton Region is home to multiple Amazon facilities, and has felt the positive impact of the company’s local presence through employment opportunities and positive charitable initiatives like this one.”
