If you’ve been searching for a fun event to attend in Milton come August, look no further because an exciting event is returning to town very soon.

If you’ve been searching for a fun event to attend in Milton come August, look no further because an exciting event is returning to town very soon.

On Saturday, August 10 from 12 to 5 p.m. the ‘Sounds of Summer Sidewalk Sale’ will be taking place in downtown Milton.

During the event, which has been described as a ‘unique shopping experience’, a number of businesses downtown will be offering a variety of goods, sales, and more.

A few of the participating businesses include Mill Street Paint, Aiden N Co, The WORKS Gourmet Burger Bistro, and Yogurty’s.

In addition, local musicians – from the Rick Imus Music Studio, House of Chords, and Acoustic Blend Café– will be performing along Main Street East.

Those who plan on attending the event will get the chance to win prizes by participating in a scavenger hunt.

“Pick up a Scavenger Hunt Card from the Downtown Milton table (located at 251 Main St. E.) and get hunting,” reads the downtown Milton website. “Locate one of each item on the card and write down which store you found it at. Once you’ve completed the card, drop it off back at the Downtown Milton table to be entered in the draw. Prizes include $100 to spend at a Downtown Milton BIA business of your choice, summer gifts, and more!”

The event will kick off just after the farmers’ market ends.

No road closures will be in effect.
