Arrest made in connection with Oakville vehicle theft

Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a vehicle theft in Oakville. 

Police say an arrest has been made in connection with a vehicle theft in Oakville. 

Halon​ police allege that in the early morning hours of July 7, 2020, a Toyota 4Runner was stolen from the driveway of a home in the Rebecca Street and Bronte Road area.

Later that day, officers located the vehicle in the Liberty Village area of Toronto and arrested one male.

Police say 26-year-old Quebec man Ibrahim El-Bizri was charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000.

The accused was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
