The Halton Regional Police Oakville division showed off some of their handy work on social media Thursday (Aug 6) as they continue to crack down on drivers travelling over the legal speed limit.
In both cases, the vehicles were impounded after being clocked going at least 60 km/hr over the limit.
Police say there has been a spike in dangerous driving since COVID-19 led to a province-wide lockdown.
They say its not how you stand by your car, its how you race your car…. well this driver is going to be doing a lot of standing around because their car is going to the impound for 7 days.

The open road may help you think about where you've been & where you're going; but if you were going 122 in a 60 on that open road, the car is going to impound, your licence is going to the MTO & you are going to court.
