Award winning artist returns home this fall to play Oakville Centre

Oakville native Anthony Tullo is bringing his music home.

The award winning rock alternative and country artist, who now resides in Milton, is scheduled to play the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Oct. 21.

Tickets for Tullo’s live performance are set to go on sale starting June 1.

The Country Music Association of Ontario’s Male Artist of the Year nominee 2018, Tullo’s song “Ten Seconds to Sundown” is on rotation on Sirius radio and another song, “Shotgun Ready”, has already had 300,000 streams on Spotify.

“Music has the power to move anyone, anywhere,” Tullo, also an award winning film producer and actor, said on his website. It’s a gift given to us from God.”

In the summer of 2019, the Canadian artist headlined the Mragowo Amphitheatre in Poland, playing in front of a sold out crowd of 10,000 people at the largest Eastern Country Festival in the world.

Tullo, who toured Poland and made radio and television appearances that year, was awarded the 2019 Optimist Award in Znin, Poland.

The singer songwriter, referred by some as the Bryan Adams and Bruce Springsteen of American rock/country, has released three albums.

Tullo released his debut Switching Tracks in 2014. His second release, Rebel, came out in 2018 and then in 2022 he released his latest album, On Higher Ground.

Tullo will take the stage at the Oakville Centre’s Studio Theatre beginning at 8 p.m.
