Two men are being sought after a Burlington business was broken into and cash from an ATM was stolen.

Halton Regional Police say possibly up to $4,000 was taken in the heist that took place in the overnight hours between Monday, Sept. 28 and Tuesday, Sept. 29.

The restaurant is located on Guelph Line near Eileen Ave. and police say the focus of the break-in was the ATM as the thieves used a device to pry open the machine to get at the cash.

Descriptions of the suspects reveal they were pretty big guys.

One is described as white, in his 40s, 6-foot and weighing 275 lbs.

The second suspect is also white, a little shorter than the first suspect, and weighing 200 lbs.

A similar break-in occurred on Sept. 23 at a pub on Elizabeth St. but police are unsure if they are related. The culprits were unsuccessful at getting this cash in this incident.
