Brampton man facing charges after two teens sexually assaulted at Oakville mall

Police have made an arrest following an alleged sexual assault that took place at Oakville Place last week.

Halton Regional Police say that on Friday, Feb. 9, at the Dollarama store inside the mall, a man approached two female teenagers and made physical contact with them while exposing himself.

The teens did not suffer any physical injuries, according to police, who believe there may be additional victims.

Police made an arrest on Monday.

Paul Swanson, 62, of Brampton, is charged with committing an indecent act, two counts of sexual assault, two counts of sexual interference and failing to comply with probation.

He’s being held in custody pending a bail hearing.

Investigators are asking anyone with information or anyone who has been victimized by the accused to contact the Halton police Child Abuse and Sexual Assault Unit at 905-825-4777 ext. 8970.
