Brampton man facing liquor charges following events held at former Nashville North bar in Halton Hills

A Brampton man is facing charges after Halton police began an investigation into an ongoing business operating at the site formally known as Nashville North, 530 Guelph St. in Halton Hills.

Police began the investigation in Norval after numerous complaints from local residents about events taking place at the site. It’s alleged events have been taking place regularly in the evening hours of the weekend and have drawn large crowds.

In response, Halton police began dedicating additional resources and increased uniform officer presence in the vicinity of the establishment. In addition, increased RIDE programs have been operating in the area with community safety being of the utmost importance.

On Tuesday Jan. 31, Richard Marshall. 53, of Brampton was charged with two counts of unlawfully selling liquor, contrary to the Liquor Licence and Control Act.
