Brand New Italian Restaurant Opens in Burlington
Burlington’s ever-evolving restaurant scene is welcoming another player to the fine-dining scene.
Because you can never have too much burrata.
Beldeni’s Italian Kitchen has opened along Harvester Rd. and it’s serving up steak, seafood, pizza and pasta.
The elegant Italian restaurant features fresh ingredients and traditions.
Among the appetizers you’ll find Imported Burrata di Puglia, with basil and arugula pesto, blistered cherry tomatoes, and crumbled prosciutto.
There’s also a Salumi board for two, with a selection of imported cured meats and cheese, olives, and mustard.
Most sandwiches, or panino, involve the letter P: Porchetta (slow roasted pork loin, carmelized onions, mustard aioli, roasted peppers on ciabatta); Crispy Prosciutto (baby mozzarella, roma tomato, arugula, sundried tomato aioli on ciabatta); Crispy Chicken (buffalo mozzarella, arugula, tomato aioli on ciabatta).
Meanwhile the Beldeni’s Burger features a house-made prime rib patty, crispy pancetta, roma tomato, and Beldeni’s sauce on a sesame seed bun.
The pizza list includes classic Margherita; Vesuvio (with chicken, rosemary potatoes, and roast garlic, and bechamel); and Gamberetti (with black tiger shrimp, white anchovy, mozzarella, and arugula pesto).
As for pasta, there’s house-made spaghettini with PEI mussels, pasta clams, and rapini in a pomodoro brodo.
Other delicious-looking items include house dry-aged Canadian striploin …
The wine list features gems from California, France, Germany, Australia and of course, Italy.
The restaurant held its grand opening earlier this month and is serving up ‘express’ lunch and dinner.
There’s also private dining for up to 20 people.
