Burlington councillor cancels drop-in event due to bout with COVID-19

A Burlington councillor’s bout with COVID-19 has forced the cancellation of a public meeting scheduled for Thursday, April 14.
Ward 5 City Councillor Paul Sharman tweeted that he has COVID-19 and has been forced to cancel the drop-in meeting that had been scheduled for Thursday, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., at Fortinos at Appleby Line and Dundas St.
“As there was much interest (in the event), I am looking to book another date in May,” said Sharman in a news release.
