Burlington Festival of Lights downtown Christmas holiday

It’s back, for the 28th year, and the holiday season wouldn’t be the same in Burlington without it.

The Burlington Festival of Lights will take place between Nov. 24 and Jan. 8 at Spencer Smith Park and with it will be a dazzling array of lights and displays representing the themes of the season.

One of the longest-continuing events in Burlington, the festival attracts thousands each year to the park in what has become a favourite Christmas tradition.

  • 4 p.m. to midnight every day with extended hours on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and Orthodox Christmas

What’s the best way to see the lights?

  • You can walk through the park but also see the lights when you drive by on Lakeshore Rd.
