A home that recently sold in Burlington was one of the most viewed online listings in Ontario so far this year, according to a national brokerage company.

According to Zoocasa.com, the house, located at 422 Indian Rd. was second on the list for the most online views and sold for $3.525,000. The initial asking price was $3,699,000.

“The Canadian real estate market is currently suffering from a shortage of new homes being listed for sale,” reads a commentary on the Zoocasa website. “In spite of this, there are still some unique and sought-after options on the market, ranging from waterfront homes with gorgeous lake views to affordable condo properties deep in a downtown setting.”

The house was listed by Sam McDadi Real Estate Inc. Brokerage.

Top selling points of this Burlington home were its location, lot size, square footage and amenities.

“This waterfront retreat based in Burlington’s Indian Point is a Tuscan-inspired beauty,” read the Zoocasa commentary. “The spacious dining room with vaulted ceilings opens up to the inviting family room with a floor-to-ceiling fireplace, where there’s a walkout to the outdoors with unobstructed, gorgeous views of the lake.”

The detached bungalow has three bedrooms and three bathrooms and includes parking spaces for up to eight vehicles.

The house itself is 3,500 sq-ft., and the lot size is 116 ft. by 100 ft.

It is close to schools, shopping and has nearby access to highways.

The house was first listed for sale in 2012 for $1,699,900.
