A Burlington resident arrived home this week to discover an intruder had helped himself to some food.

According to Halton Regional Police, a person broke into a home on Montgomery Dr. around 6 p.m. on Tuesday (April 18) and while inside helped himself to some food.

The meal was interrupted when the homeowner returned to the house and called police.
