Burlington MP announces she tested positive for COVID-19

Burlington MP Karina Gould announced on Twitter today, Feb. 24, that she’s tested positive for COVID-19.

“I had been feeling a little under the weather and this morning I took a rapid test,” she told her nearly-30,000 followers on the social media app.

“I am resting at home and will isolate accordingly. I am relieved that I am vaxxed and boosted.”

The Liberal MP is the Minister of Families, Children and Social Development in Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s cabinet.
