The City of Burlington will switch into holiday mode for the last long weekend of the summer.

While most operations will be running on Saturday and Sunday, on Labour Day Monday there are some changes.

All weekend free parking is available downtown, on the street, in municipal lots and in the parking garage on weekends and holidays. However, waterfront parking lots (east and west) do not provide free parking on statutory holidays.

Parking exemptions are currently not required for overnight parking on City streets between 1 and 6 a.m., due to the COVID-19 emergency.

Burlington Transit will be offering a reduced service on Monday and schedules can be checked at burlingtontransit.ca

Also on Monday, City Hall will be closed as will all Halton Court Services.

The City’s outdoor pools at LaSalle Park, Nelson Park and Mountainside Park will be open on Monday, but pre-registration and payment are required.

Community centres and Animal Service remain closed due to COVID.
