Burlington Transit cutting back hours, service levels to meet Ontario pandemic guidelines

Burlington Transit is making some changes due to the Provincial COVID-19 guidelines.

Effective Sunday, Jan. 9, the service will temporarily reduce hours and operate on a modified schedule.

Buses in Burlington will now operate Monday to Saturday, 5:50 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and Sundays from 6:14 a.m. to 9:55 p.m.

Transit officials are asking residents to help everyone stay safe by limiting use of transit to essential travel only, like getting to and from work, or non-rush hours trips to grocery stores or pharmacies.
