Two suspects – one with a man bun – have been breaking into a Milton business for roofing materials and Halton police are looking to the public to help identify them.

Four incidents took place on June 23, June 24, July 1, and July 2 — all overnight, between 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. from a business near James Snow Pkwy. and Hwy. 25.

They cut a hole in a chain link fence, investigators say, making off with three skids of roofing underlay material and other related items.

The suspects were captured on video surveillance — so were their getaway vehicles: a blue, four-door,Mazda 3 and a white Ford Econoline van. Both licence plates were either covered or removed.

The first suspect is male with a tan complexion. He’s tall and thin with black hair tied in a bun, and was wearing a black scarf over his face, a black T-shirt, black pants, and black shoes with white soles.

A second suspect was also involved, and is believed to be male.

Anyone with information is asked to phone Det.-Const. Mark Brewster of the Milton criminal investigations bureau at 905-825-4747 ext. 2428 or CrimeStoppers 1-800-222-8477.
