Canada’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt Takes Place in Milton
For those who celebrate, Easter is in just over a month (April 21, 2019) which means there is still time to prepare and strategize for your family's annual egg hunt.
Although, if (like me) you have been deemed 'too old' to partake in this event but you still want to join in on this common Easter activity, we have some good news - there is a huge local egg hunt you can join in on.
Canada's largest egg hunt is happening right here in Halton - Milton to be exact.
This year the egg hunt, which is hosted by Maxed Events, is taking place on April 20, 2019, at the Milton Fairgrounds (136 Robert St.).
The goal of this family-friendly rain or shine egg hunt is to not only find eggs but also to score points.
"With four colour-coded teams, families compete to not only find the eggs, but to score the most points," reads the Canada's Largest Egg Hunt website. "Teams earn points by completing a series of challenges associated with the eggs they find. Designed to ensure maximum participation from all ages, the challenges rely on the family and the team to work together! The winning team will have the chance to win an ultimate prize pack."
This egg hunt, which will span over 23 acres is perfect for families and individuals.
There will be three hunting 'sessions', they are as follows.
- 10 to 11:30 a.m.
- 3 to 4:30 p.m.
- 7:30 to 9 p.m.

At the hunt, attendees will be able to enjoy a variety of food vendors - so be sure to head out to this event hungry.
