Charity golf tournament happening soon in Milton

A charity golf tournament is happening soon in the Town of Milton.
The Milton Community Resource Centre (MCRC)’s first annual golf tournament will take place on Sept. 30 at Granite Ridge Golf Club, located at 9503 Dublin Line.
The event, called the “MCRC On the Green Charity Golf Tournament,” will support three empowerment programs at Granite Ridge Golf Club.
These programs include an infant food bank, “She Can!” programs designed to empower and uplift girls in the community and a period poverty initiative which helps provide period products to menstruators.
The event is currently looking for sponsors.
Those interested in supporting the event may also do so by playing golf in the tournament.
