Thanks to a hankering for some chewing gum, an Oakville woman finds herself $100,000 richer today.

Rose-Marie Lannigan bagged the lotto prize after winning with the Instant Payline Multiplier (Game #2349).

The 59-year-old mother went the store to purchase some guy and decided to buy a ticket. Well, she got her self a nice prize to chew on.

“When I scanned the ticket on the OLG App and saw $100,000, I was very happy!,” said Lannigan while stopping by the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings. “I went to play pool with my ladies team and didn’t say anything until after the game.

“They said no wonder you were late!”

The winnings will certainly go to good use for the Oakville mom, who said it feels like peace of mind for her.

“I will pay off bills, purchase a new vehicle and put the rest away for retirement,” she said.

Instant Payline Multiplier costs $5 and the top prize is $100,000. Odds of winning any prize are in 1 in 3.96.

Lannigan purchased the winning ticket at the Esso gas station on Plains Rd. in Burlington.
