Customer stabbed during bungled pharmacy robbery in Milton, suspects at large

One person was injured during a bungled robbery attempt at an Oakville pharmacy yesterday.

According to Halton police, two men, one armed with a knife, entered Abbeywood Pharmacy, 1395 Abbeywood Dr., around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

A woman who was shopping in the store got into a confrontation with the armed suspect and was stabbed. She was taken to hospital with a non-life threatening injury.

The second suspect was confronted by an employee and both suspects ended up fleeing the store without stealing anything.

Police are looking for two male suspects. Both were wearing disguises and dark clothing.
