The City of Burlington has issued an emergency road closure due to today’s (Feb. 27) extreme weather conditions.

As a result of the weather, the degree of incline, and lack of salt, the escarpment sections of Kerns Road and King Road are closed.

According to the city, crews are working to clear primary and secondary roads.

Furthermore, Burlington Mayor Marianne Meed Ward recently released the following video addressing the weather and conditions of the city.
