Emergency Services on Scene Rescuing Hiker in Burlington

Burlington fire, police, and ambulance services are currently on scene at a trail extrication in Burlington.

Police confirmed around 5:30 p.m. that fire has commenced rapelling an adult female from a trail at Mount Nemo Conservation Area.

Police have spoken to the hiker, who is conscious and responsive. She is in non-life threatening condition.

Fire should have made contact with the hiker at this point, say police, and extrication is still in progress as of 5:50 p.m.
