Employees at Oakville’s Staples retail store have filed an application to unionize.

A post on social media states that Staples workers at the 320 North Service Rd. location are fighting to end “unfair wages, understaffing, COVID-19 covers ups, mental health ignorance and limited breaks due to understaffing.”

“Staples has had a long anti-history,” said the Staples unionization campaign in email to Insauga.

The campaign can be found at staplesunion.ca and on Instagram @staplesunion.
