Everything You Need to Know About Midnight Madness in Oakville This Year

It’s almost time for midnight madness in downtown Oakville again. This year the popular event is taking place on July 19 and will kick off at 6 p.m.
It’s almost time for midnight madness in downtown Oakville again. This year the popular event is taking place on July 19 and will kick off at 6 p.m.
Here’s everything you need to know about this year’s event.
The 42nd annual midnight madness, taking place in downtown Oakville, will run from 6 p.m. until 12 a.m.
During the event there will be live music – with performances from Guilty 5, Evolution DJ, InfraRed, and Broken Cadence – buskers, kid zones (with face painting, giant games, an inflatable obstacle course, and more), and more than 100 businesses will be participating, some of which will be having sales.

And when it comes to getting to, and leaving, the event, fear not because downtown Oakville has a plan.
Downtown Oakville has partnered with Oakville Transit to provide a free shuttle from the Oakville GO Station to and from the event.
“The shuttle will leave every [five] minutes starting at 5:30 p.m. from the Oakville GO,” reads the downtown Oakville Facebook page. “The last bus will depart from the event at 12:30 a.m.”
