Final arrest made in Burlington shooting incident

The final suspect in a Burlington shooting incident has been arrested, according to police.

Police say that on the morning of June 17, officers received a call regarding a shooting on Woodview Road, which is located in the New Street and Walkers Line area.

Upon arrival at the scene, police say they located a 23-year-old male victim with serious injuries. He was transported to hospital and treated for a gunshot injury.

Police believe the victim was targeted. 

After the incident, police arrested and charged Pablo Videla and Jenna Nandlal in connection with what officers are calling a “robbery involved shooting.” 

Halton police say that on July 19, 2020, investigators arrested the last outstanding suspect without incident in Toronto.

Police say 20-year-old Toronto man Jordan Careen-Sellars has been charged with robbery with a firearm, aggravated assault, unauthorized possession of a firearm, conspiracy to commit an indictable offence and more. 

He was held for a bail hearing in Milton on July 20.

No charges have been proven in court.
