Fire damages 9 tractor-trailers where Mississauga, Brampton and Halton Hills converge

Nine large tractor-trailers were damaged in a commercial area in what police are calling a suspicious fire.

Halton police are investigating the incident that took place near Winston Churchill Blvd. and Steeles Ave. W. where Halton Hills, Brampton and Mississauga meet.

Reports say the fire was noticed just before 1 a.m. on Jan. 15 and firefighters from all three communities were called to the area.

When crews arrived on the scene they found the nine trucks engulfed in flames.

Two of the vehicles were destroyed by the fire and the others received extensive damage.

There were no injuries.

Halton police and the Ontario Fire Marshal are investigating the fire which has since been deemed suspicious.
