First a scratch, then a spin, now $150,000 for a Burlington win

A spin of the lottery wheel has earned a Burlington resident a $150,000 prize.

Senada Junuzovic says she is still in disbelief with her recent haul won through the Bigger Spin instant game (#3151).

Junuzovic said she first got into the lottery game back in 2005 by playing Lotto Max, but soon discovered that instant tickets were much more to her liking.

“I like the thrill that an instant ticket offers,” she explained.

Discussing her win, Junuzovic said she didn’t think it would happen the way it did when she scratched her ticket.

“When I saw I won a spin, I passed the ticket to the clerk and when I saw it land on $150,000, I was so excited, I thought I was going to fall over,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre to pick up her cheque.

When she shared the news with her husband, he was so happy after getting over the initial shock.

Junuzovic is so excited and thankful for this win. “I can’t imagine putting money like this in my bank account. I will pay some bills and complete some home renovations. I want to get new floors, appliances – a whole new kitchen. I am so thrilled!” she said.

The winning ticket was purchased at Fortinos on New Street in Burlington.
