Freezing rain to hit Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville and Milton

We can expect to see a wintry mix of precipitation on Monday (Dec. 27) for much of southern Ontario.

Light snow is forecast to arrive Monday morning, continuing for a few hours with a few centimetres of accumulation possible before transitioning to freezing rain or freezing drizzle in the afternoon.

Light freezing rain or freezing drizzle may continue through much of the afternoon and into the evening, and is expected to transition to drizzle or end in the evening or overnight.

Residents planning to be on the road should exercise caution, as untreated surfaces such as roadways may become icy.
