Full closure of a Halton highway this weekend

Halton drivers looking to take the 401 late Saturday will be detoured through Trafalgar.
The closure is part of the Highway 401 Expansion Project.
Halton drivers looking to take the 401 late Saturday will be detoured through Trafalgar.
The closure is part of the Highway 401 Expansion Project.
Motorists can expect the full closure of the Hwy 401 eastbound and westbound lanes at Trafalgar Rd this Saturday (July 18) from 11:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday.

There will also be a full closure of Trafalgar Rd southbound to Hwy 401 eastbound and Trafalgar Rd northbound to the Hwy 401 westbound on-ramps.
The Highway 401 Project involves the reconstruction and widening of approximately 18 km of Hwy 401 in the western Greater Toronto Area (GTA), from east of the Credit River in Mississauga to west of Regional Road 25 in Milton.
The project includes widening the existing six-lane configuration to 10-lanes or 12-lanes segments.
