The Town of Oakville has just the thing for families looking to get active, spend some time together and have a whole lot of fun.

Residents are invited to take part in their town’s next Community Play Night this Friday (March 24) at the Queen Elizabeth Park Community and Cultural Centre.

Families can partake in a bunch of free, fun activities such as badminton (ages 6+, 6-7:30 p.m.), print making (6-7:30 p.m.), Zumba (6-7:30 p.m.), board games (ages 6+, 6-7:30 p.m.) and swimming (7-8:30 p.m.).

Other free events families can book include Button Making and 3D Printing and a Design a Toy Workshop (6-7:30 p.m.) at the Oakville Public Library.

Children can also learn to sew mini-wallets and scrunchies, as well as enjoy using fabric stamps, during a Sew Much Fun session presented by the Threads and Glue Academy.

Capacity restrictions and admission standards apply. Residents can book their spot(s) up to seven days in advance. Walk-ins welcome as space allows.

Community Play Nights take place every fourth Friday each month at different centres throughout Oakville.

Photos/videos may be taken during this event and used in future print and digital materials produced by the Town of Oakville without compensation.
