Get tips and advice during annual Tour the Secret Gardens of Milton on Sunday

The best day of the year for gardeners in Milton is coming up this weekend.

The annual Tour the Secret Gardens of Milton, a fundraiser for the Milton & District Horticultural Society, will from from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 9.

The tour will allow you to take a journey through seven exclusive residential gardens secretly hidden in local neighbourhoods. You’ll meet up with gardeners and discover unique ideas on design and plant selection.

The homeowners will invite you to walk and talk gardens. This year, all gardens will have artists among the flowers. You’ll meet Diana Tuszynski, Linda Ross Gallagher, Barb Tate, Monica Burnside, Heather Meehan, Ursula McDermid, and Kathleen Bignell. They will be displaying their amazing garden art on the properties.

There are plenty of great bonuses included as well.

At Springridge Farms, where you can buy your ticket on Sunday, you can enjoy a complimentary coffee and muffin.

Early bird online tickets, prior to Sunday, cost $20 and are available here. You can also buy them in person at La Rose, 327 Bronte Street.

On Sunday, tickets will be available at Springridge Farm for $25 from 9 a.m. to noon.
