Gingerbread and the holidays combine for unique Burlington family event

Gingerbread Magic, a favourite Christmas-time tradition in Burlington, is returning to Mapleview Shopping Centre.
From Dec. 1-3 and again from Dec. 8-23 the gingerbread-themed experience features candy-coated displays, family-friendly activities including cookie decorating, photo opportunities and holiday-themed colouring.
Located on the upper level of the mall near Sporting Life, tickets for the visit are $15 per child with all proceeds going to McMaster Children’s Hospital.
Visits are 30 minutes in length and pre-booking online is recommended. To book your session, visit mapleviewcentre.com/events/

Also, during the holiday season at the mall, you can download the Mapleview Holiday AR app and visit the augmented reality (AR) installations throughout the centre to create and capture holiday moments. Search for the snowflake AR displays, scan the QR code and follow the instructions on the screen to activate your AR holiday experience with holiday classics such as the nutcracker, jolly reindeer, snowmen and more.
