GO Transit adds more express train service between Burlington and Toronto

More express GO Trains have been added for commuters travelling between Burlington and Toronto.

Lost in today’s announcement about increased train service between Toronto and Niagara, GO Transit has added the additional Burlington express routes heading both eastbound and westbound.

Starting this coming week on the Lakeshore West Line, additional trips heading eastbound leaving from Aldershot have been added at 6:51 a.m. and 7:51 a.m. They will arrive at Toronto’s Union Station at 7:47 a.m. and 8:47 a.m.

As for westbound, additional trips have been added at 4:24 p.m. and 5:24 p.m. leaving Union Station and arriving at Aldershot at 5:21 p.m. and 6:21 p.m.

The additional express trains for Burlington commuters were part of the larger announcement of expanded service between Toronto and Niagara Falls.
