Burlington is throwing a huge pool party and you’re invited!
Nelson Park is having its grand opening for the new $5 million pool and splash pad following a two-year closure.
Family activities and giveaways are planned all day on Aug. 1 and admission is free
There will be rubber ducks at the party but they won’t be of epic proportions (or cost!).

The ribbon-cutting is scheduled for noon, while the party runs from 10:30 a.m. until 8 p.m.
