A new adult lifestyle community planned for southeast Georgetown was given the thumbs up by Halton Hills council at this week’s meeting.

The development will bring 46 single, detached bungalows, 21 bungaloft townhouses and 21 rear-lane townhouses to 15651 10 Side Road, between Ninth and Tenth lines.

There will be two resident parking spaces per dwelling unit and 27 visitor parking spaces. Primary vehicular access to the community is proposed off Hartwell Rd.

An emergency access is proposed from Morningside Dr., however, it will be closed off for public vehicular use but can be utilized as a pedestrian connection.

A 693 sq.-m. outdoor amenity area is also proposed within the community to provide recreational space for future residents.

According to the staff report, there has been little opposition to the proposal from local residents.
