Halton police say one man is under arrest for making a false report to police in Burlington.

Halton police say one man is under arrest for making a false report to police in Burlington.

The man allegedly made a false report of a shooting at a Walker’s Line residence, just south of the QEW in Burlington.

Many emergency services responded to the false report, including police and paramedics.

Police say the man had his cellphone stolen earlier in the day and wanted a quicker response.
