Halton Police Locate Man Believed to Have Been Abducted in Burlington

Halton Police have found the man they believed was abducted in Burlington.

Halton Police have found the man they believed was abducted in Burlington.

On Thursday, August 8, Halton Police asked for the help of residents in an apparent abduction case that happened in the afternoon.

Police claim that with the help of several tips, they were able to locate the male victim in good health. He sustained minor injuries as a result of the incident that did not require medical attention.

Police have yet to find any of the suspects in the case.

Police officers also located the black Honda Civic believed to be used by suspects in the incident. A forensic team is investigating the vehicle.

Police have not released the identity of the male victim. The investigation is still ongoing at this time. 

Police state that this was a targeted incident and are confident there is no related ongoing risk to public safety.
