Halton Police Seize Massive Quantity of Cocaine in Milton

Two men are facing drug-related charges following the seizure of $30,000 worth of cocaine in Milton.

Two men are facing drug-related charges following the seizure of $30,000 worth of cocaine in Milton.

A search warrant was executed by Halton police at a home on Haxton Heights in the early morning hours of June 8, near Bronte St. S. and Louis St. Laurent Ave.

Two suspects were arrested, with police seizing half a kilo of cocaine and other items, including cell phones and cash.

D’Shawn Rose, 24, of Milton is charged with trafficking in cocaine, possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, and breach of recognizance.

Rose was held for a bail hearing in Milton court on June 8.

Christopher MacNevin, 40, of Oakville, is charged with possession of cocaine and possession of methamphetamine.

MacNevin was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear in Milton Court on July 11.

Oakville’s criminal investigations bureau started the drug-trafficking file in spring 2017.
