Halton Region holding long-term care job fair in Oakville

Halton Region is hosting a job fair Tuesday (Feb. 7) in Oakville for those interested in a career at long-term homes.

The free job fair is being held at the Post Inn Village, located on 203 Georgian Drive, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Those interested will learn about current vacancies available at Halton’s long-term care homes including:

• Dietary Aides
• Registered Nurse
• Registered Practical Nurses
• Personal Support Workers

No prior registration is required for the walk-in event. Job seekers are asked to bring copies of their resume.

Interviews for part-time positions will be available at the venue.

All attendees will be required to take a COVID-19 rapid antigen test on-site prior to entering the long-term care home.

As well, masks will be mandatory for all attendees, which will be provided at the venue.

Parking is available on site.

There will be a break between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
