Halton’s daily COVID-19 case count falls below 100 for third day in a row

Halton Region’s daily COVID-19 case count has fallen below 100 for the third day in a row.

Today (May 12), Ontario is reporting 2,320 new cases of COVID-19, 95 of which have been reported in Halton.

Burlington has recorded 20 new cases, Oakville has 30, Milton has 36 and Halton Hills has nine.

A total of 15,509 cases have been resolved in the Halton Region and 218 people have passed away.

There are currently 736 active cases in the region.

According to regional data, there are 4,782 total variant cases in Halton.

A total of 45,681 COVID-19 tests have been completed in Ontario in the last 24 hours.
