Hamilton hospital welcomes first baby of 2024

Another bundle of joy joins the January 1st birthday club.

St. Joseph’s Healthcare in Hamilton announced that a baby girl made her grand entrance at 1:33 a.m., this morning.

Weighing 7 pounds and 9 ounces, baby Mila brought overwhelming joy to first-time parents Michelle Sandoval and Wojtek Reiser from the Hamilton/Burlington area.

Baby Mila’s arrival was celebrated with a basket of newborn essentials from the hospitals gift shop which also included a Babies ‘R’ Us gift card.

Additionally, the family of three enjoyed an exclusive stay at Charlton Suites, courtesy of the St. Joseph’s Healthcare Foundation.

As per the hospital’s update, both mother and baby are in good health, and the St. Joe’s care teams are thrilled to have contributed to the safe arrival of yet another New Year’s Baby. However, details for the second baby born on January 1st at the same hospital were not provided.
